Media Houses are glorifying Prostitution

Journalists are giving voices to glorified prostitutes, “slay queen”.

On our television stations and radios, we observe that slay queens are invited to the media houses to expatiate on their escapades on live television. Slay queens now have true grits to proclaim they have slept with a number of men on television or are chasing married men on tv.

Through their resurgence in this country, students from Junior High Schools (JHS), Senior High Schools (SHS) and tertiary, can now be seen twerking on videos as well as having leaked sexual tapes and even having sugar daddies.

Young ladies see them as role models in spite of the possessions they have acquired through chasing people’s spouses or prostituting. There is a rife of slay queens in this country and they even have their shows on televisions and radios.

The increasing nature of slay queens activities’ in the society is gradually becoming inimical and scourge as hardworking ladies are touted bubbleheads.

It is about time the media stopped inviting slay queens to their studios as well as making them presenters on television of which they capitalise on to advocate strongly for young girls to join them.

Not only that but also, punitive and stringent measures should be adhered to anyone that goes nude on social media or is seen advocating young ladies to go into prostitution or chase after people’s husbands.
